IGNITE RATINGS — Week 1 Crowdsale Report

Today marks 6 days since Ignite RATINGS launched its IGNT token crowdsale, and what a week it has been. From a smooth launch on Monday 15th, to a huge market correction bottoming out on Wednesday to spice things up a bit, we have seen a steady number of contributions being made to the Ignite RATINGS project all week long.

Our growth has been organic and healthy, in turn meaning that we have a dedicated community who are plugged in to our mission to launch a truly decentralised and self-governing ratings and linked investment index platform. This was never expected to be a project for the whales…

Contributors

The Ignite RATINGS platform will only be as strong as its community, and it is hugely satisfying to have already amassed 946 unique contributors to the project. We warmly welcome each and every contributor as a member of the Ignite HIVE and hope to put you all to work soon!

ETH Raised

We commenced our crowdsale having already sold over half of the available 10 million IGNT tokens. During this first week of the Ignite RATINGS crowdsale, our contributors have raised a total of 1,280 ETH through direct subscriptions in ETH and other currencies via our integrated Coinpayments platform. Although this only represents 6.4% of our total ETH raise target, if we combine the crowdsale raise with the seed and pre-ICO raise, we are well funded to complete our product development and seed the Ignite INDEX with a respectable amount of deployable capital.

Having taken many different factors into consideration over the past week — the volatility of the cryptocurrency markets, the comments and requests of our contributors, the Ignite development roadmap etc., we have decided that it is in everyone’s interests to close out our crowdsale as soon as possible…

AS SUCH, WITH EFFECT FROM 18:00 UTC ON MONDAY 22 JANUARY, A REVISED ROCKET CROWDSALE PRICING STRUCTURE WILL BE LAUNCHED:

• 22 January — 29 January = 10% DISCOUNT (0.006 ETH per IGNT)
• 29 January — 5 February = 8% DISCOUNT (0.00613 ETH per IGNT)
• 5 February — 12 February = 6% DISCOUNT (0.00627 ETH per IGNT)
• 12 February — 19 February = 4% DISCOUNT (0.00640 ETH per IGNT)
• 19 February — 26 February = 2% DISCOUNT (0.00653 ETH per IGNT)
• 26 February onwards = FULL PRICE (0.00667 ETH per IGNT)

As before, there is NO MINIMUM CONTRIBUTION, but a maximum contribution of 1000 ETH.

We haven’t forgotten about our existing contributors and want to thank you all BY GIVING YOU EVEN MORE IGNT! We will do this via an airdrop in the coming days so that:

• All PRESALE and “SOFT CAP” contributors will receive an additional 2.5% BONUS IGNT (on IGNT purchased during the presale and soft cap phases only).
• All other CROWDSALE contributors will receive an additional 10% BONUS IGNT (on IGNT purchased during the crowdsale phase only prior to 18:00 UTC on 22 January).

Most FAQs on Telegram

The most frequently asked questions were “When exchange?” and, before the market correction, “Why price of 1 IGNT so high when ETH is strong/Why not pegged to USD?”. The latter question was certainly answered by the correction, demonstrating that we had made the right move to peg IGNT to ETH and to reduce our hard cap target to 20,000 ETH. For the former, it remains key that we keep our negotiations confidential, with a target of listing by mid Q2.
