Full Moon at 9 Libra — Sun + Venus + Chiron at 9 Aries

The Full Moon at 9 Libra today will oppose an exalted Aries Sun conjunct Venus in Detriment and Chiron (all at 9 Aries). This is a really interesting and pointed lunation, one that is worth a little exploration even though it may not feel that great.
Full Moons are spotlights. Think of the full moon itself as that round light on the stage, and this month what is illuminated (the stage) is the place in your life where you have Libra (because that is the sign the full moon is in this month). The source of that spotlight is the Sun (in this case it is in Aries). The insight or source of illumination is the Sun, it’s a major player in the equation. The house where you have Aries is the other place that is activated. Full Moons are always oppositions and as such will illuminate a sign polarity (and house polarity axis for you in your chart).
Normally the planetary ruler of the moon is the next piece of info you look to as an astrologer to interpret the lunation.
