I couldn’t be more excited about a movie coming to New Orleans. Last week I received an email about the showing of Jeremiah Tower “The Last Magnificent” next week and I’ve telling everyone, including complete strangers about the showing.

Jeremiah was one of the pioneering celebrity chefs in the 1980’s and like so many chefs quickly rose to insane fame. Unlike a lot of chefs from that era that went on to become global household names, Jeremiah disappeared into the eather.

Somewhat languishing in the realm of the forgotten, Tower has been brought back to the minds of all of us with this Anthony Bourdain produced documentary showing next week at Peoples Health New Orleans Jazz Market (1436 Oretha Castle Haley Boulevard), and thankfully/thoughtfully brought to the us all by SoFab (The Southern Food & Beverage Museum).
