Rethinking Capitalism lecture

In the Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP)’s first Rethinking Capitalism lecture, Professor Mariana Mazzucato introduces our undergraduate module to a fresh cohort of 2nd and 3rd year UCL students, exploring the key challenges facing modern capitalist economies. The lecture by Professor Mazzucato also examines the economic theories and policy frameworks that have led to these challenges and explores some broad-based alternative approaches.

The language of change

Each week in conjunction with our Rethinking Capitalism lectures, we will be posting a blog article written by Brendan Maton which will complement the content presented in each lecture.

Our Medium feature page, Rethinking Capitalism, will be updated weekly with content relating to each lecture. In week 2 of Rethinking Capitalism, Rethinking fiscal policy will be presented by Stephanie Kelton.
