The Calm Before the Storm: Fund13 Week 4 Update
Hello everyone!
We’re back with the latest updates from Fund13! After last week’s surge of submissions, we saw a lull in submissions the past week. Understandably, after that mad dash people are probably spending time getting their Partner proposals ready for the November 7th deadline.
Tomorrow marks the beginning of the Community Review phase though, where voters will assess the proposals that have made it into the ballot. So without further ado, let’s see how things are stacking up.
This Week’s Highlights
In the final sprint before submissions closed for Developers, Ecosystem, Concept, and Product categories, we saw continued growth and shifting trends. Here’s a breakdown of the latest changes in terms of top trending proposals
Developers
- Top Trending: [TEX] EduChain held its spot at the top, demonstrating continued interest in education management systems on Cardano.
- Rising Trend: On-Chain Timelock Capabilities jumped into the second spot, reflecting strong engagement and potential for developer-focused tools.
Ecosystem
- Top Trending: “A Cardano Hub in Nyiragongo to Empower an Underserved Region” slipped to second place this week.
- New Entry: “Onboarding Indian College Students to Cardano” claimed the top trending spot, showing strong interest in grassroots education initiatives.
Concept
- Top Trending: CrushOU continues to lead the way with its matchmaking platform, gaining consistent traction.
- Runner-Up: TongueSwap solidified its presence at the second position, confirming community interest in language exchange and DAO-based models.
Product
- The Product category witnessed another shake-up this week with WP NMKR Connect and The Cardano Effect being displaced!
- Top Trending: Levvy Plutus V3 upgrades and token lending/borrowing solutions rose to the top.
- Newcomer: Herd, a decentralized music game hopped in to second place
Enterprise R&D
- New Submissions: This category saw 5 new proposals, with “Cardano-Helium IoT Integration and Data Layer Creation” becoming the top-trending submission.
- Shifts in Ranking: “Redefining Enterprise Loyalty” fell to second, displacing DataWell from the top 2.
Growth and Acceleration
- Submissions: 10 new proposals were submitted this week, continuing to drive engagement.
- Top Trending: “ADA for Salesforce Go-to-Market” remained at the top.
- Rising Trend: “Cardano NFT Marketplace” climbed back into the second position, signaling a renewed focus on NFT initiatives.
