IKONIC Adopts Enjin’s Efinity Parachain for Esports NFT Marketplace
IKONIC, the world’s first dedicated Esports NFT marketplace, today announces its adoption of Efinity, an NFT parachain built by Enjin.
Built on Polkadot, Efinity is designed to serve as a cross-chain superhighway for the NFT industry, supporting tokens from any blockchain network. IKONIC will integrate Efinity into its marketplace, allowing users to mint NFTs on the scalable, eco-friendly NFT network.
IKONIC CEO Sebastian Diaconu stated: “We are very excited to be partnering with Enjin, who has become a standard in the NFT industry and blockchain gaming in particular. Regarding the collaboration, IKONIC CTO Alex Binesh highlighted the following:
- Enjin’s robust technology stack offers its own wallet and allows for NFT creation and management on its platform.
- Efinity, Enjin’s Polkadot parachain which launched in March 2022, can be integrated using GraphQL, API, and C/C++ SDK, which will afford IKONIC a shorter development cycle
- Efinity is the first parachain in the Polkadot ecosystem dedicated to NFTs
- Enjin provides a decentralized infrastructure for the open Metaverse, which is a natural fit in the IKONIC roadmap
- Enjin’s product ecosystem facilitates the integration of NFTs in games, which is of great interest to IKONIC as it plans to incubate indie games that could utilize this technology.
