$2.3M for an Axie Infinity Plot

Vietnam-based blockchain game Axie Infinity has announced that a plot of land was just sold for 550 ETH (roughly US$2.4 million). This whopping price certainly got everyone’s attention. The new question is can digital real estate be as valuable as real estate?

The previous record was the $1.5 million deal for nine plots of land in Axie Infinity. According to Axie officials, the new record is the largest amount of money ever paid for a single piece of digital real estate.

The success of Axie Infinity is evident, however, several other crypto games also started to have huge price spikes, especially on land ownership. The new lands are sold out immediately since NFT lands are seen as investments.

$725M for Blockchain Game Development Platform

Forte secured $725 million for a blockchain game development platform. The company aims to create a compliant and interoperable game development platform.

The funding round was led by huge names such as Sea, Garena, Animoca, and more.

Forte is certainly filling a gap between crypto gaming and traditional game publishers. However, game companies entering blockchain presents a challenge since monetization issues between the publishers and the players are still going on.

Louvre of the Metaverse

Photo editing and design software company Pixlr is creating the Louvre of the Metaverse. The new decentralized art museum will be called Pixlr Genesis.

This fantastic news is exciting for the NFT artists and is seen as the next big thing. Many digital artists already severed their ties with traditional art galleries.

There will be 10000 NFTs in the museum in total and we believe it will be an amazing experience for all.

Uniting The Blockchain

According to recent news, Wax.io is developing a new way to link different blockchains. The idea will enable players to trade between the two blockchains anytime, anywhere. Therefore, representing the beginning of a larger network where blockchains operate together rather than at odds with each other.

Christie’s Partners with OpenSea

One of the biggest auction houses in the world, Christie’s, partnered with NFT marketplace OpenSea. Through this partnership, Christie’s will curate its first on-chain NFT auction.

All the NFTs are selected by Christie’s experts and industry experts. The bidding will close on December 7th.

K-POP Metaverse is Coming Soon

Over the last decade K-POP took over the music industry and now in collaboration with Animoca Brands, we will have a K-POP metaverse. Animoca Brands partnered with Cube Entertainment for this venture and will have more than 50 artists in the project.

This will give a chance for the artists to shine. From NFT songs to album covers everything will be tradeable over the platform.
