Hi Guys

Our start-up is a snack delivery service. We offer two different products, one with comfort snacks, the other with health food. People place an order and we send them right to their room.

It was easy to develop our product; we evaluated what food people would buy and then went out and got them.

We made a mistake and bought too many products before winter break — it seemed like a good idea to test our products out over finals week, but then we decided against it. These products were perishable and incurred some losses.

We are currently focusing on optimizing our market campaign. This is done through comparing the performance of different ads on Facebook. We keep changing them until we find a “perfect” ad.

On top of our Facebook and Instagram campaigns we also have flyers in the Campus North Dorm. We will also continue to change these flyers.

I am well acquainted with online marketing. It’s always the same: your product is not profitable at the beginning, but as you streamline your marketing process you eventually get out of the red.

The only problem is that I have never dealt with a market this small (our possible buyers are only 800 people — everyone in North).

We have had 2 sales. Both were for the healthier version — we think it’s because it includes a parfait which is a big selling point.

This is good because we started recently. We will have more real results in a week. The marketing campaign will be done by then.

Here are the ads:
