Book 1 in the Webber/Ahmed police procedural crime series — Chapter 1 and 2
Buried Deep was my first police procedural novel, introducing Detective Superintendent Martyn Webber and Detective Constable Ayaan Ahmed, both of whom went on to star in later books. Although it’s my first novel with a police enquiry centre stage, the book also features PI Annie Raymond, who had already featured in four novels by this stage.
