Introduction and Context
Many modern technology domains relate to artificial intelligence projects. Hence, they are necessary for the successful completion of the initiatives.
However, some technology domains provide the core infrastructure of AI initiatives. Thus, they are seen as essential. I highlight four of these crucial technology tools in this chapter.
From my experience, the essential technology and technical support of artificial intelligence projects include Cloud Computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), Mobile technologies, and Big Data Analytics. In addition, cybersecurity, networks, IT Service Management, and Blockchain play essential roles. I cover these broad technology and service domains in another chapter.
An integrated view of these technologies, associated processes, and tools establishes critical success factors in AI projects. Furthermore, benchmarking technological products and services can be helpful as essential enablers of AI projects and related initiatives.
