Serilda continued to pack up her stuff. A lifetime of collections. She knew her grandmother didn’t understand why she was suddenly leaving, but she wasn’t interested in staying in this house, her parents’ house. She wanted to get away from everything. She was going to stay with Cecilia before she figured out what her next plans were.

Christina had promised to put all her boxes in storage until then. It was just to pack everything, and figure out what she wanted to keep. She went back to her closet, picking up some more clothes when her eyes caught on the white silvery short dress that Owen had designed for her to wear at the Corporate gala. She closed her eyes, taking a breath. Before she continued to grab her items and leave the closet. She stopped dead when she saw she wasn’t alone.

“Evan? What the hell?” she asked. “Cecilia wanted to be sure you’re alright,” Evan said leisurely relaxing on Serilda’s bed. Serilda scoffed. “I’m surprised that she doesn’t have me surrounded by an armed guard,” Serilda said, throwing the clothes un-delicately in her travel case. “Still angry, are we?” Evan said with a smile. “Bite me,” Serilda said as she walked back to her closet.
