“It’s not that way.” The man said in the baseball cap. “It’s over there.” Nadir scowled but went the way he pointed. He was running out of time. He had known his grandmother was devious, but he hadn’t thought she would stoop to kidnapping. Nadir honestly didn’t know what to make of it but it didn’t matter until he knew Serilda was safe.

Even if she wouldn’t want to see him ever again. He was just glad that Charlie had seen it and called him. He felt that he’d been running in circles since then. Running through a festival was the last place he thought he’d be. While his grandmother was devious, it was her bodyguard Cassius that was the most trouble. He was really good at making it look like he and Eleanor were blameless.

He ran through the festival, jumping up on one of the higher levels of a game to look around and see where Serilda could be. He didn’t see any sign of Cassius or Eleanor anywhere he could see. He ran over through the festival, finally stopping when he saw a map. He looked at it carefully and decided that the best place to hide someone would be underneath the rides. Where wooden structures had been built to strengthen the foundations of the different rides.
