Jon led me toward a back exit. The rumbling of an angry mob penetrated the door from outside. If Jon hadn’t arrested us they would have lynched us.
“Jon.”
“Yeah?”
“I need to use the bathroom.”
Jon led me to a bathroom door. It was a single, probably for staff. He nodded at me to go ahead.
