Obesity has dramatically increased globally, in both developed and developing countries. It’s estimated that in 2024, approximately 2.5 billion adults worldwide are overweight. This represents about 43% of the global adult population. Of these, over a billion people are obese, which is a significant public health concern.

With the plethora of information available out there and a new fad diet or superfood every five seconds, dieting can seem super complicated and embarking on a weight loss journey daunting.

At its core, weight loss is about creating a caloric deficit. Without it, we won’t lose weight.
