If you’re anything like me, your life is a constant battle to find balance between:

  • Crushing your goals and taking it easy
  • Going all-in and resting
  • Celebrating your wins and taking the next steps

Sadly, most self-improvement advice only highlights one side of the equation and ignores that reality is usually more nuanced.

If you constantly push yourself to your limits by waking up at 4 am, working out daily, and never resting properly, you might eventually burn out sooner rather than later. Not so good.

And if you try to manifest your biggest goals by meditating for an hour each day but never really take action, you might not get very far.

Personal growth is a constant balancing act — one that I enjoy exploring from different angles.

Earlier this year, I came across 75Hard — a mental toughness program created by Andy Frisella.

It’s basically a self-improvement challenge with several daily habits that help you improve your mental and physical fitness.

I like challenges, and I’m a big believer in habits for sustainable lifestyle changes, but once I looked into the details of 75Hard, I figured it’s a little too hard for my taste.
