Every moment spent with you
Is a blessing, I count as true
The lens through which, you look at life
Has taught me to embrace the strife
Not gloomy but with a happy face
“It’ll pass, this is just a phase” you’d say
I think I’ve had it worse but then
You share your story and I begin
To wonder how you laugh so much
Everywhere you go,
You spread that touch
You’ve toughened me enough to see
The beauty in life’s misery
I don’t deserve a friend like you
I’m blessed to have a friend like you
