The Gospel: Apostle Paul’s New Testament Letter to the Ephesians
This ‘Cliff Notes’ Approach Shows the High Points of the Gospel so the Gospel Is Seen in Context and More Easily Understood.
An Opening Statement from ‘The Gospel Life Coach’
As a lawyer I feel I must make one because all lawyers make them, right?
The Apostle Paul wrote half the New Testament after both God and Jesus
taught him the gospel (Galatians 1:11–18, Second Corinthians 12:1–4).
Of course their purpose was to have Paul share the gospel with us.
But the Apostle Peter talks of Paul’s writings and says:
“His letters are hard to be understood” (Second Peter 3:16).
I hear some Christians say much the same thing today.
This is because the Old Testament law was the only thing religious people knew for CENTURIES. Yet Paul says in the gospel: “ALL THINGS ARE NEW.”
This is why the Bible is called the OLD and NEW Testaments.
And it’s why we’re told to only preach and minister the NEW,
even though the OLD is important and cannot be disregarded.
