Uniforms are all we see. They plaster the newsfeed. Soldiers, athletes but where are the uniforms who were our heroes such a short time ago? Why has that applause fallen silent?

Nights unending, eyes red, bleary
family distanced for the many
withstanding fear and personal loss
shattering days of unknowing.
