In this article, I will try to take an analogy between a kingdom and the subconscious mind. It is going to be a bit subtle but will outline a great methodology to overcome subconscious blockages.

The analogy between the kingdom and the subconscious mind

Consider a child in his infancy. There is no fear in him. His subconscious mind is free of any false belief and hence he rules them all i.e. does things without any fear. All his faculties abide by his wishes and conform to whatever he says.

The subconscious mind of the child in infancy is like a kingdom that covers the whole world. Every territory i.e. a faculty abides by your rule. All territories work in coordination and strive for the betterment of the kingdom.

As the child grows he formulates false beliefs i.e. a part of his energy gets vested in abiding by the rule of the newly created false beliefs. This leaves less energy for productive activities and the kingdom gets divided into multiple parts. The newly created parts are ruled by false beliefs.

The newly formed kingdoms

The subconscious blockage is analogous to the newly formed kingdom that works in its own way and does not succumb to the rules of the main kingdom. These newly formed kingdoms at times coordinate with each other and carve out further territories from the main kingdom.

Likewise, the subconscious blockages that get created in the subconscious mind coordinate with each other and can carve out further false beliefs that lead to forming new kingdoms out of the main kingdom i.e. a part of the energy is vested in catering to these false beliefs leaving the person devoid of essential life force to carry on with his daily operations.

How to annex long-lost territories?

The usual way to annex the long-lost territory is to go to war with those kingdoms and get victory over them. This involves a huge amount of energy.

Likewise, to overcome the subconscious blockage one needs to apply the arduous process of catharsis and overcome the resistance towards reaching the false belief and then replace the same with a better belief. At this point the annexation of the long-lost territory is complete and from then on the people in that territory will work under your command.

Is this the only way?

Catharsis may seem to be the most straightforward way of annexing the subconscious blockage but in my opinion, there is a way better than catharsis that can lead us to victory with no fighting at all.

In the new method one does not need to fight with the fearful incidents guarding the false beliefs but let them soak in an uncomfortable situation so that there is mutiny within the kingdom. This is analogous to spending enough time in a situation that aggravates the subconscious blockage and makes it unbearable to contain it. At this point, the long-lost kingdom shall, on its own, surrender to you and let you annex them into your kingdom.

Example: Ram held many conservative beliefs that acted as different kingdoms carved out of the main kingdom. Each of these false beliefs ruled the various kingdoms and that led Ram to be devoid of energy and under a lot of anxiety.

The false beliefs were that involvement with the opposite sex should only happen within the purview of marriage, elders should always be respected, etc. These false beliefs led to many conflicts within Ram’s mind and led him to have guilt and shame. This is analogous to the carving out of a new kingdom out of the main kingdom which is then governed by false beliefs. These false beliefs join hands and go on a war against you creating further kingdoms ruled by the newly created false beliefs. Here newly created false beliefs might be nationalist ideas that generate hatred against other countries, religions, places, etc.

If Ram does not put a check on the growing mutiny by these newly created kingdoms then he risks losing his identity and becoming paranoid. Now there are two ways for Ram to overcome these subconscious blockages. Ram tried the first way of using catharsis. He re-experienced the fearful incidents associated with some of his false beliefs like romantic involvement is bad before marriage and once the emotional charge died down he changed the false belief that romantic involvement should be celebrated with or without being in the purview of marriage.

The above process of annexing the territory held by one of the false beliefs was very hectic for Ram. It took a toll on his body. He thus went for the more subtle way of annexing territory.

“By creating a situation so that the kingdom ruled by false belief itself goes on revolt against its own ruler and surrender to you.”

Ram publicised some of his writing on print media and that led him to be open towards receiving praise or criticism from anyone. The conservative false beliefs want people to be in their shells and not expose themselves but soaking in this new situation the people in the carved-out kingdoms felt uneasy. They went on a revolt against their own ruler i.e. the conservative false belief. This led the kingdoms to automatically surrender to you and merge with you. Your work was completed without fighting the various kingdoms.

Conclusion

Overcoming a false belief is normally attained via catharsis but there is an even better way of creating unrest within the carved-out kingdom so that they revolt against their ruler i.e. the false belief and surrender to you. This way of working on yourself is ideal as there is no excessive use of catharsis and the result is the same if not better. Good luck soaking in an uncomfortable situation so as to aggravate the part of your mind ruled by the false belief and let it succumb to you and eventually merge with you. You will then be just like you were in childhood — devoid of any form of fear or false beliefs and leading your life with creativity and enthusiasm.
