Are we becoming numb to the loss of lives associated with Covid-19? Today, we reached 23.3 million U.S. Covid-19 cases. 388,700 Americans have died. We can not become immune to the tragic loss of life.
It took four years to lose 405,000 U.S. fatalities from World War II.
In January, the U.S. averaged 230,000 new infections and 3,000 deaths per day. Los Angeles is now averaging one death every six minutes.
