Bob Kendrick is the president of the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, Missouri, a role that he has utilized to teach the world and a constant reminder to the United States that appears to make a concerted effort to shove much under the rug, to be forgotten and unknown by future generations. Thankfully, Kendrick uplifts their ghosts of yesterday, providing accolade and recognition not given in life but giving them their due nonetheless in death.

During the World Wars I and II, the Negro Leagues had their heyday astounding all who were exposed to their talents in the face of much racism and rejection. As Kendrick stated even today a shadow is cast to blur their legacy and fame. The sport and Baseball commentators speak as though Babe Ruth is the beginning and the end of baseball which is far from the truth.
