Can Money Buy Happiness?
How to buy happiness
The common belief that “money doesn’t buy happiness” is one of the oldest lies in the world.
As someone who works and writes for a living, I’ve experienced the relief that comes with financial security. With each increase in my earnings, I’ve found myself solving more money problems. Yet, I no longer worry about paying my water or electric bills because I know I have enough money to cover them at the end of the month.
I want to teach my kids how to work hard and escape poverty because lack of money places more stress on them than any other problem they might face. Before you attack me, I understand that money isn’t everything, but it comes pretty close. Money solves most financial problems, which make up about 90% of most family issues, leaving other problems that would exist even if you didn’t have money.
I know life has three key aspects: health, wealth, and relationships. If you’re poor and you get sick, it can be really tough unless you live in a country that provides free healthcare. If you’re single and struggling financially, attracting high-value partners is much harder. Many studies show that men with financial resources are seen as more attractive.
As you can see, having money provides freedom and more resources to handle any problem.
