Racism Is A No
“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful… that’s what matters to me.”

Change Starts With US
I’m a big believer that we can’t enact change without looking deeper into ourselves. We won't change if we are unwilling to make the steps for change within ourselves. It creates a desire that forms a catch twenty-two for us. We want to achieve change, but we can’t make the movement happen on our own.
Change begins with us if we are determined to make it so. We have to realize words can hurt. They can hurt deeply and are going to continue to hurt until we bleed. I’ve always been angry at the fact that we have to define our physical characteristics with the word Race on our Certificate of Birth. The word is kind of an insult against our own ideals. If we want to get rid of racism, we need to cut it at the core. Do you want to have an effective shot at changing the world? Then you should do so with the words we use with each other because words are powerful.
Men have fought, killed, and taken lives because of words. The way we use words should be in an effective and kind way. We shouldn’t use derogatory words with each other as a means to act cool, and we shouldn’t be using words as a way to hurt one another. Words are a powerful entity so use them wisely. Yet, people will always find a way to abuse words and meaning.
Let’s define the Word Race in terms of humanity and what the word has created for our world
I believe the word Race is used and abused. We need to change the world because it has created such a division in the American society that we live in. Change is hard, I know. The word as defined in our dictionaries says “a category of humankind that shares certain distinctive physical traits”. Alright, so the word as it is defined is the creation of segregation. People have used it for ages to classify what continent they are from. But I think it's time we work our way…
