If you’re in computer dark mode, you will see nothing framed below:

In the dark, there is little to no light.
The allure of outer space is a darkness from which
Imagination springs. The light within seeks safety
In her opposite β€” an enveloping darkness.

I am from the mirrored universe, me thinks:
Where darkness is a warm blanket of safety from
The cold light.

Alone, I was irrevocably alone,
Desolate and safe within this universe.
In the Dark, devoid of all light,
Invisible and safe within myself.

I-Am:

All shadow work begins somewhere. Mine began when I was in my early 40s. In my contiguous life at age four I focused on the light. At age 8 I felt consumed by the dark. Age four was the beginning of incest violations, repression, sailing into the light and my desire to feel invisible.

Occasionally I dip into the dark as a salve for my safety.

Thank you for reading in the exploration at the edge of the dark and the light.
