WRITING WITH PERSEVERANCE
Fill My Cup
As a writer, sometimes my thirsty soul needs to be quenched.
As I live my life each day, some situations exclusively reflect my personal need and desire to be refreshed as my thirst is quenched at the same time.
When my throat feels parched and my body signals it is beginning to suffer from thirst, I quickly gulp an icy glass or bottle of water.
When I feel like I am running low on energy and need an igniting boost, I slowly sip the most flavorful cup of coffee I am in the mood to enjoy.
When I am not feeling well physically or am very tired from having an exhausting day, I deliberately enjoy every mouthful of a satisfying hot cup of tea to calm myself.
When I go to a restaurant, the first thing that I expect is to be offered a tasty drink that will complement my meal choice and add enjoyment to my dining experience.
