To my friends reading this in Australia, Europe, India, the Middle East and other parts of the world, here’s the bottom line about the 2024 U.S. presidential election:
- President-elect Trump not only won, but he won big.
- It was a historic landslide victory for Trump, who beat Vice President Harris in all seven of the “swing states” which decided the outcome.
- Trump and his supporters are calling the election results the biggest political comeback in U.S. history.
- Democrats are in disarray. Trump’s landslide also helped Republicans maintain control of the House and flip the Senate.
- Republicans now control the Executive and Legislative branches of the U.S. government.
- Republicans also have a 6–3 conservative majority of justices on the Supreme Court — three of whom Trump previously appointed.
