Just pondering other day
about my favorite nostalgic
railway experience,
Loved my time on
English heritage railways,
Remember GWR locos and
seeing gracious
Stirling Single,
But Hogwarts Express
occupies special
place in my heart.

Family loved
Harry Potter
films and books,
Strange for
book-worm because
I adored early film
Philosopher’s Stone,
London release 2001.

Hogwarts Express, Portal to Magical World

In Philosopher’s Stone,
Harry Potter boards
Hogwarts Express at
King’s Cross railway station’s
secret Platform 9¾,
Harry befriends fellow
first year Ron Weasley and
meets Hermione Granger.
