Poison Oak was healed through a Homeopathic Formula
I’ve used homeopathic remedies for physical ailments, deep psychological issues, and grief. As a healer, I toyed with the idea of returning to school to become a homeopathic practitioner. But toying was all I did.

How Homeopathy Works
Western medicine — the kind supported by the American Medical Association (AMA) — is allopathic. Allopathy treats disease by treating symptoms with medications, surgeries, and procedures. It is a pointed approach and has its value.
Homeopathy treats the body holistically. It allies with the immune system. An infinitesimal amount of poison is introduced, which activates the body’s immune system to fight the disease.
The First Remedy I Used
I got a bad case of poison oak (poison ivy is poison oak’s cousin). I picked it up from a backpacking trip. I used the formula Rhus toxicodendron or Rhus tox 30c. It worked to clear the poison oak rash in a few days. It also cleared my dairy allergies. After several years, it stopped working, so…
