Honored with ‘HerStory Award’
Diversity Trailblazer Honored for Lifetime of Nurturing Inclusion and Countering Hate
The Women’s Federation for World Peace has announced that founder and editor-in-chief, Deborah Levine, has received the distinguished ‘HerStory Award’ from the Women’s Federation for World Peace USA (WFWP), with chapters nationwide in all 50 states and locations in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, South America and the Middle East.
Levine is a leading international expert and top management consultant on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) in the private and public sectors. Her unique neuroscience cognitive-based approach to advancing DEI helps employers and disparate communities harmonize, rather than homogenize.
The award honors Levine for her “outstanding and exemplary leadership and lifetime investment in overcoming hate, addressing racial and cultural animosities…opening the hearts and minds of diverse audiences…fostering genuine conversations, healing and peace.” It was presented to her by the Global Women’s Peace Network — Women’s Federation for World Peace USA (wfwp.us) during a live virtual event on “Nurturing Inclusion and Upending Hate” (watch Levine’s remarks here starting at minute 16:34 followed by the award presentation).
