Is Quiet Quitting Better than Actual Quitting?

I first came across the concept of “quiet quitting” through a video that popped up in my YouTube feed. (Clearly, the algorithm knows how to entice me to click). In short, quiet quitting refers to the behaviour whereby employees do the bare minimum not to get fired — they are physically present but have mentally checked out from doing anything above and beyond what they absolutely have to.
