Love The Wise Word — Fools Play; Wiser One's Jade — Beauty-up, heavenly still be that touch, Was and When it was.

To live by an undying love

Is like loving the marble statue.

A care — a want, a daring worry.

Menaced nary by the cruelties of passing time —

Daring to and fro the foaming

Seas, whence the light came,

Back down the stormy basement

Of loss and decay.

I could rest alive, ever am I in indebted

To the man who put his life on me —

Who gave his name out without a hint

On a cross note, touching those

Losing lips now.

As summer remotes its due

Poetry is a trick of the mind
