Power Utilities’ greed,
Escalating gas prices,
Decarbonisation plans
controversial
over budget and
behind schedule,
I’m sick of bills,
Makes me wonder
what can be done by
individuals and
local communities?

Did informal calcs,
Relinquishing fossil fuels
increases demand on
electricity grid,
Delays in grid expansion,
Closures of old
gas and coal generators,
Inevitably leads to
decreasing reliability of
electricity supply.

New dimension
added to thoughts on
decarbonisation,
Thinking about
providing power
during extended
blackouts
brownouts and
power rationing.
