Meet Tejus Yakhob — Film Director

Dear Friends of Medium, in this story, I want to introduce a new writer on Medium who is not new to writing. Let’s meet Tejus Yakhob. Usually, our senior editors introduce new writers joining ILLUMINATION publications, but I chose to introduce Tejus as we have a lot in common, especially since we work in the same industry and have similar work ethic and aspirations. I hope you will enjoy my introduction.
Tejus was born in 1994 in a sleepy town called Belthangady in the South of India. There was nothing particularly special about this place except the fact that it was home to the only maternity hospital in the area. All four limbs and all twenty digits were in place. The family was happy, and so were the doctors.
Growing up in Bangalore, if anyone expected him to be something other than an engineer, doctor, or chartered accountant like his fellow Indian cohorts, they wouldn’t be wrong. He wanted to be an aeronautical engineer at NASA because space fascinated him.
Unfortunately, it was not meant to last because he soon found out that calculus was his mortal enemy. And to live a life where he would have to…
