High expectations lead to higher disappointments.

The second I learned, the enormous difference between “wants” and “needs” was life-changing.

Our expectations play again us many times. We want a perfect partner, the most beautiful, the smartest, the funniest, the richest. Then we regret later our bad decisions—a big disappointment for a huge expectation. And ending up wonder about how weird is love.

Sure, there is not a magic formula to get your better half. But if you reduce your expectations, the chances are that it might be easier to find the proper person.

For instance, It is essential to have a crystal-clear definition of what you want and what you “really need.”

If your idea is getting a company to level up your life, many times, wants and needs are not correlative.

Most people realize this late. And end up regretting having a tedious relationship. These times of lock-down were open-eyes for many of us.
