The love we shared, where has it gone?

Once pillowy, I leaned in, drifting
welcomed and assured
Now boned, jagged, jarring
your shoulders bark brutal dismissal

Once a watery welcome, an enchantment
the precocious play of possibility
Now cold, callous and crippling
your eyes see me not
