How humans think the earth belongs to them and not God

“Mine eyes are ever toward the Lord;…” (Psalm 25:15).

One Race, One Prize

Humans are the one true race
Honor due to one God, our prize
Each has a journey to fulfill
All in line with God’s will
You are destined to do and be
Go within yourself to see
God’s reason, your presence here
Make things better, don’t you fear
All your tools created within
Pursue your dream, you will win
A lawyer, doctor, teacher, or judge
Admire others but don’t begrudge
There’s only one true race
We’re all together, go at your pace
Be sure, keep your eye on the prize
Blessings to come befitting your size
What’s your’s, cannot be taken
Soar like an eagle, don’t be mistaken
Life awaits, humanity to be better
Be positive and weather the weather
The cloud, the storm now moving on
Leaving you a bit higher on the rung
Run the race, keep your pace
Evil alerts, God’s your mace
Giving your sheer delight
While passing through, you see the light.
