Peace Went To Bed But Hell Woke up

Peace and harmony went to bed
but nightmares and confusion woke up
took over the mind, endlessly
screams of questions rang out all night
how did I get here? who brought me here?
got to go home across the street,
where is my husband? and on and on
there were moments of screams, agonizing
the reasoning was beyond comprehension
rationalizing momentarily there…
