Pursuit: 35/Touzdae Saves Jac/from himself
Recap: Hannah attempts escape and fails. She does battle with Von Deign & loses.
Recap continued: Touzdae — the observer tempted to intervene but remembers space-time protocols and restrains herself. Von Deign extracts more DNA from Hannah. Reptoids interact with Von Deign. Touzdae goes back to Geordae Phorae’s space station to help save Jac from dying. Von Deign puts Hannah’s DNA into the dark ray machine. And ready at the start button.
“Is the silver craft ready for takeoff,” Von Deign barked into the communicator.
“Yes, My Lord, the package is secured. Engines are charging.”
“Ten seconds after launch, you notify me!”
“Yes, my Lord, countdown commencing.”
Von Deign watched on his screen as the sliver craft consumed by clouds of dust, rose. The craft made a 180-degree turn, over the pad adjacent to his giant ship.
“Eight, nine, ten, mark, my Lord, primary folding engines charging,” the captain reported.
Von Deign opened one strand of the dark ray along the path of the departing craft. He depressed the button. Jettisoned to the other side of the room, his crumpled body — knocked out.
