Recycling is a Failure, But a Solution is Already Here

The city of St. Petersburg, Florida’s “waste-to-energy” program is the perfect alternative to recycling.

I remembered what a failure recycling programs are today as I grabbed a piece of toast and plopped it down on a plastic saucer. The saucer would not be recycled. But after throwing it in my city’s trash bin, it would eventually get burned at 2500 degrees Fahrenheit…
