Once again, a mass shooting tragedy is dominating the news due to the murder of multiple people Wednesday at a high school in Winder, Georgia.
Two students and two teachers were killed, and nine others were injured (six of whom were also shot), according to media reports. This latest mass shooting massacre has thrust the issue of gun safety squarely into the 2024 presidential campaign.
Issues surrounding smart and sensible gun safety laws will likely be addressed Tuesday night at the first presidential debate.
