Super-Lawyer Street Smarts
Law School Wisdom — With Lots of Humor to Hopefully Make You Laugh Out Loud or at Least Put a Grin on Your Face!
Yes, I am a lawyer, but I hope you won’t hold that against me!
I actually call myself ‘a recovering lawyer,’ after spending 25 years in the courtroom most days. I was a civil litigation business lawyer who also handled more divorces than I’d ever care to remember.Although I don’t practice anymore, I recall lots of things about it.
I am also known here and on Social Media as “The Gospel Life Coach.”
A lawyer’s strength comes from drive
and obnoxious, intrusive perseverance.
To him, this produces inner peace, contentment,
and the ability to be able to seem like a real threat to anyone.
We lawyers are taught to
admit nothing, deny everything
and to talk by the hour
(for as large a fee as possible).
But something else I’ve learned is this:
If you’re into something that’s over your head
keep your darn, stupid mouth shut.
