The Dawn of Fractal Music

“A dreamer is one who can only find his way by moonlight, and his punishment is that he sees the dawn before the rest of the world.”

― Oscar Wilde (1854–1900)

The term “fractal music” can mean different things to different people. For some, it simply refers to music that was generated by mapping a fractal image to pitches, durations, dynamics, and instrument sounds. This type of music can be compelling, but it is not necessarily fractal from a mathematical perspective.
