Upon this day, I awaken in awe and wonderment, for
the sea of grace hath washed over me, a
flowering bed of white daisies hearkens me to the
sun of reality —

Tibetan prayer flags fluttering in the wind bid me
to the dawn-time of all created things, nature’s
bounty tells a story that existed long before
humankind —

In the darkness, the prodigious moon shines brightly
in the sky, to encourage humankind to
question why:

Who am I?
   What is my purpose?
What is the meaning of this life?
What is my relationship with all of humankind?
What can I do for others to ease suffering and blight?

I have been blessed one thousand times, the fruitful tree of life
guides me, my inner being is my lodestone aright.
