The cheerful sun
#I woke up at dawn,
Before the sun shone.
The dogs were barking,
The birds were twittering,
And the solitary crow was croaking,
Most people were still sleeping.
#I tiptoed out quietly in the cool mist,
The air with the cool breeze softly kissed,
The dew drops fresh in the grass,
Ready to let me slowly pass.
#The sun was peeping through the hills,
The promise of hope and warmth, thrills,
The beauty of the dawn still rings,
As the sun takes over it clings,
The dawn was soft and peaceful
The sun is lively and cheerful.
