It requires a lot of inner work to sparkle like a diamond

There are many materials on the planet that sparkle but there is something special about diamonds that make them the most valuable. The carbon atoms in a diamond are arranged tetrahedrally, creating a very well-arranged internal structure. Similarly, there are many people who exude confidence on this planet but only a select few have a very consistent belief system that is a work of a lot of inner work.

It takes time

Diamonds are not created in a matter of a few years. It takes a long time for coal to turn into a diamond. Similarly, for a person to have clarity of mind, it takes generations of work done by his ancestors (that is eventually imparted to him) to arrive at his current level of being.

In recent times there has been a great advancement in science and diamonds are getting created in labs in a very less amount of time. The haphazard connectivity of carbon atoms is aligned so as to form artificial diamonds that are not less by any means than naturally available diamonds. Similarly, there are many people who apply the process of catharsis and refinement of the inner child to create a consistent thought pattern that has answers to most of the issues that life and society present to the person. Such a person is like an artificially created diamond.

Maybe his society and ancestors had distorted views of reality but the person used the power of reprogramming the subconscious to arrive at a calmer and consistent view of most of the various aspects of life.

Sparkle doesn’t imply diamond

It is not a necessity for a material to be diamond in order to sparkle. There are some materials that do sparkle but do not have their atoms arranged in a beautiful manner. Such sparkling materials may be appreciated by some sections of people but those with a deeper understanding of their beauty will not appreciate them as much as diamonds.

Similarly, there are many people on this planet who exude confidence and are appreciated by quite some people for their free flow of thoughts but unless and until the various aspects of societal setup including religious beliefs are not well thought out, such people will not be appreciated by intellectuals.

No need for hatred

I believe hatred is a sign of weakness. If someone instills hatred within you then you basically have a weak aspect that you need to work upon. In a similar manner whether a material is a diamond or something fake that sparkles, one should not weigh anything above another. For people too if someone is a diamond i.e. has answers to all major questions of life then also it doesn’t entitle them of been revered more. It’s just that you can get some guidance from such people and enrich your life while at the same time having the same amount of love for other people who exude similar confidence but without any strong foundation.

Some people need an extra amount of inner work to sparkle while some can sparkle without much of the inner work. Some may sparkle without consistency in their belief system while others may sparkle only when they have thought about almost all the issues pertaining to life and the universe. The only difference between such people is that some may provide guidance to humanity while others may not. But both are equally worthy of our love and none should be a recipient of hatred.

Conclusion

There are natural diamonds and there are artificial diamonds. Similarly, there are people who gain confidence by means of having clarity of thought passed to them through generations of work while there are some who do self-analysis and work upon themselves to reach a state of mind where they have clarity about life questions. Those who do not belong to either of these categories may still be happy people but the only thing is they may not be ideal to give directions to others. In no case can anyone be worthy of more love and respect. Everyone is an expression of pure consciousness and our love towards them should be purely based on their essence. This will help create a mind that does not have any hatred and leads a life in a happy and peaceful manner.
