This Dangerous and Trending Tik Tok Joke is Hurting Today’s Youth

It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt.

When your child tells you about a new Tik Tok prank, you know it will not be good news. My son came home the other day and mentioned new prank kids were playing at school.

He said some kid or kids were taking all the toilet paper out of the bathroom stalls.

Other cases involved taking the hand sanitizer dispenser from school property.

These and other “jokes” are trending across America.

If you’re not familiar, Tik Tok is one of the hottest social media apps where people share short videos.

This latest trend started on September 1 when Tik Tok user @jugg4elias posted a video of stealing face masks.

“Devious licks refers to a trend where TikTokers steal school equipment and flaunt it like trophies for all of TikTok to see,” the video states. “The devious licks trend is a successful yet diabolical trend that hinges on crime for success.”

In the two weeks since this started, over 76,0000 videos have been posted about devious licks. The more difficult to obtain an item, the more devious the lick.
