Today is 人日 (Renri or “rén rì” in pinyin), the 7th Day of Zhengyue, the first Chinese Lunar month. Literally, it is “Human Day”. According to Chinese mythology, folklore and customs, Renri was the day human beings were created. Technically, today is everyone’s Birthday.
