Two of the Most Dangerous Lies Republicans Continue To Spread

Most Republican politicians repeat these destructive lies no matter how many lives they destroy

“There was never an indication of interest in what the actual facts were.” Bill Barr made that statement in reference to Donald Trump’s refusal to accept the truth about the 2020 election. As reported by CNN, Barr also called Trump’s claims of widespread voter fraud “bullshit.”

Barr could be honest because he had already resigned and is 72 years old, so he wasn’t worried about his political future. Most other Republican politicians have publicly repeated the lie that Trump won.

That is just one of the false claims they have found it necessary to embrace in order to win elections and/or keep getting endorsements and money from the NRA.

Here are two examples of the many lies Republicans continue to spread. These lies are dangerous, sometimes even deadly, and need to be countered with facts.

The Big Lie

The Big Lie is the claim that President Biden “stole” the 2020 election and his apparent victory was the result of widespread voter fraud.
