Elizabeth II is the reigning queen and head of state in the UK. At the age of 95, she is also Britain’s longest-ruling monarch.

As well as having one of the longest reigns in European history, she has also been the subject of numerous memes thanks to her ability to walk long distances, ride horses and do normal activities despite her age. For example, in June 2020, she was seen riding her horse without any aid!

How many 94-year-olds have you seen doing that?

While some say the secret lies in her genes; her great grandmother, Queen Victoria, reigned for 64 years and lived to the age of 81, we should also look at the Queen’s lifestyle.

Her biographer, Sally Bedell Smith, recalled how the Queen’s endurance is ‘striking’. During a visit to the White House in the early 1990s, George Bush Sr. congratulated her ability for walking so briskly that it ‘left even the Secret Service panting.’

However, the Queen has never even lifted a dumbbell, nor has she taken part in intense physical exercise, so what’s her secret?
