What Happens When Part Of A Road Washes Away?

It could be dangerous, but it gets fixed

There is a road in the City Creek Canyon area in Salt Lake City, Utah, not far from the Utah State Capitol and Memory Grove. It starts up at the top of a hillside where the road ends after going west. People can turn right on the road or left to go towards the downtown area.
